Bluejay is made by one small studio, so the address below reaches someone who can actually change the code.
Blue jays are caching birds. Every autumn, one bird files away thousands of acorns across its territory — and, this is the part that matters, finds them again months later, by memory. The ones it forgets grow into oak trees.
That’s the app. Save from anywhere, let each link be filed away, and trust the memory when you come back for it — search by what you half remember, not by exact words. And when a link you saved dies, it doesn’t just stay lost: recovery brings back an archived copy or a living replacement. Even the forgotten acorns grow into something.
You’ll find the bird in the corners of the app, too. A jay never keeps one hoard — it scatters many small ones — so every category in Bluejay is a stash, and to file a link away is to stash it. The whole collection is simply yours: searched by half-memory, checked while you sleep.
Open it and pick a different category — Bluejay takes the correction and does not argue. Anything it was unsure about in the first place waits in your Inbox rather than being filed silently.
Bluejay marks it and, on the paid tier, goes looking for an archived copy or a live replacement. Every replacement it offers has been checked as reachable first — it will not suggest a link that is also dead.
Tags you typed yourself are kept separately from tags Bluejay generated, precisely so re-processing cannot eat them. If you have lost one you typed, tell us — that is a bug.
Both are buttons in the app, under Settings → Your data, and neither needs us. Deleting your account has the steps, and what to do if you cannot sign in; Privacy says what an export includes.
See the BluejayBot page, which explains what it does and how to stop it.
What you did, what happened, and what you expected instead. If it is about one specific link, include the address — most odd behaviour turns out to be a page doing something unusual, and having the URL is the difference between a fix today and a fix eventually.
